AVON 39 The Walk to End Breast Cancer kicks off the first of seven events in Houston on April 22-23! AVON 39, now in its 15th season, is committed to helping power more breast cancer research, more screenings, and more survivors. Don’t Mess with Texas...AVON 39 Houston will begin on Saturday, April 22 with an inspirational ceremony. Then, the 39ers will embark on a two-day, 39.3 mile walk around the city. On Sunday, participants will cross the finish line and join family and friends to celebrate their achievement at a closing ceremony, where the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade will award grants to Texas-area breast cancer organizations.
